Brian Hanson
Hey there! I am a former Hudson Valley student who graduated from Rhinebeck High School in 2012 and Dutchess Community College in 2020. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry at SUNY Albany in 2021.
I chose to create this organization because I know how it feels to be a student who struggles financially - I had to work to put myself through school at every level. School itself is challenging, but balancing school and work makes it nearly impossible to succeed. I know how difficult and stressful it can be and I want to do my part to make pursuing an education easier for the next generation of students here in the Hudson Valley.
My goal for this organization is to be able to help support local students financially as they tackle their education and to create opportunities for these students to become more involved in their community. Community is extremely important to me and I am looking forward to the opportunity of bringing students with us on various community service outings in the future. I can’t wait to see where this project goes and how many people we can help along the way!
