Nationwide, too many students struggle to pay for their education. At Hands In Hudson Valley we are on a mission to provide funding to students in our community. All of the funding we receive through donations, grants and fundraisers will stay in the Hudson Valley and be used to support students in our area.
Getting Involved
As a non-profit organization, we depend on members of the community to help us reach our goals. In order for us to succeed in our mission, we need to acquire funding. While donations are a great way to contribute to our cause, something as quick and easy as sharing a post on our social media or as thoughtful as volunteering your time for one of our fundraisers is a crucial part of our mission. This type of support from the community is how we plan to reach our goal - helping students pay for their education.
Community
Community is the foundation of our organization. The single largest motivating factor for the inception of this organization was our deep love of this community and the people within it. Our primary goal is to help students, but, in doing so, we will also be helping our local businesses in the process! We shop local! In other words, when we need a new round of shirts or mugs with our logo, we order from locally-owned businesses - keeping all of the money we raise in the Hudson Valley.
